My family and I have spent much time in choosing a breed of dog that would be appropriate for our house. Following extensive consultations with friends / family, books and websites that play compatibility tree questionnaires we filled out our research, the selection of a greyhound.
She also gave much time to think about whether it would be better with a puppy or adult dog would. Since my husband and I are working outside the home (and have therefore no time to housetrain a puppy), it was found that an adult dog is the best option for us.
While many breeders offer puppies Whippet etc. purebed in Canada, only two "Rescue Whippet" Art offers adoption agencies Whippets ADULT.
We have come so far in such a long time that the idea of a 1 - or2-year-long waiting list is a real challenge.
Is there a better way or more to buy or adopt a kind of wind chime housebroken, gentle, and adults in Canada? We are located in Mississauga, Ontario (west-GTA/Toronto).

The American rescue groups to see to remember, since they often wear, and I believe that the transport of U.S. Canada is very restrictive.

I also agree with the recommendations found on a Petfinder, even if it is a mixture - what could be a good choice for you.
Find out who is providing the local Chinese restaurant and ask them to keep their eyes open for one.

There are many groups of greyhound rescue "south of the border! LOL!
Toronto is just .. What? .. 4 hours. Sarnia or Windsor? Easy and the dogs will go home each day.
In fact, the whippet rescue or humane society, the quickest route. If you let them know that you are actively looking for I am sure we will keep an eye on you. Try petfinder.com, or check the few shelters in your area to see whether they have a greyhound. I took a dog from a shelter and could not be happier. Good luck!
I would recommend that would take petfinder.org TV programs for all breeds of dogs for many different place to dogs. You can breed and your area and find hunting dogs in your area. Hope this helps. It is a wonderful place.
